Nothing Like the Real Thing


This past weekend Mr. Ciway and I celebrated our 28th wedding anniversary at an amazing restaurant that focuses on using local produce and other home/farm grown organic food products. The restaurant maintains a "straight from the garden to the table" philosophy. The food made me want to go home and start planting a garden (even just a small herb garden would suffice since I am not known for my green thumb!) The green stuff on the plate is basil oil mixed in with some strawberry syrup - truly inspiring, isn't it?
